Chief Complaint: Severe pain preventing standing or walking.

Diagnosed with hyperplasia in 1994. Condition worsened in Feb 1996. Dependent on painkillers.

TCM Signs (Four Examinations)

  • Tongue:Pale
  • Pulse:Slow

2Diagnosis & Treatment

Diagnosis: Bone Bi / Kidney Deficiency.

Treatment Principle: Strengthen Bone and Soften Hardness.

Prescribed Method

External application.

Duration: 10 days

3Outcome & Analysis

Relief began in 1 day (could go downstairs). Pain disappeared in 10 days. Full recovery with continued use.

Hyperplasia itself is hard to reverse, but the associated soft tissue inflammation and pain (the 'Biao') can be effectively managed with herbs.
